Dutch Fake News, Warmongering, Anti-Russia Propaganda

by Oui Wed Feb 14th, 2018 at 09:28:34 PM EST

What the media in Holland and the political parties refuse to mention. The lies about Russia were placed in the context of the prospects of war initiated by Putin's Russia and the risk of maintaining unity in the European Union. Halbe Zijlstra spoke at the VVD party congress and positioned his party as anti-Russian by an ugly piece of WARMONGERING. Here is the translation from Dutch - VIDEO.

Speaker Halbe Zijlstra and his lies about a meeting with Vladimir Putin -  VVD Congress in 2016

Halbe Zijlstra started his opening words in the Frisian language, his birthplace ...

0:18
Ladies and gentlemen it's good to be in again
00:21
Friesland on my birthplace
00:23
the high too long and I see as always
00:27
at a VVD Congress a lot of
00:29
cheerfulness and optimism
00:31
I am also an optimist myself

More below the fold ...

00:33
you must also honestly admit that I am
00:35
also worrying
00:38
I am very concerned about
00:40
developments that I see in the world
00:42
that are a real threat to
00:45
our freedom for our way of life
00:51
you only have to turn on the news
00:54
or just to open a newspaper and
00:57
that frightening world comes directly to mind
00:59
you inside
01:01
a world where it is very possible
01:04
is that we can make it here in Europe again
01:08
going to get a war
01:09
a war with Russia
01:13
I was present in the dacha at the beginning of 2006
01:17
from Vladimir Putin
01:19
but as an employee it was hidden
01:22
in the back of the room where the event took place
01:24
but I could very well hear what it is
01:26
Vladimir Putin's answer was on the
01:29
question what he meant
01:32
under Greater Russia because Greater Russia
01:35
that is where he wants to focus
01:38
answer was that it is Russia, Belarus,
01:44
Ukraine and the Baltic States
01:48
well, Kazachstan that was "nice to have"
01:55
and he did not leave it at words
01:58
we have been able to witness that in recent years
02:00
see
02:01
first in South Ossetia and in Abkhazia
02:05
Transnistria a very recent in the Crimea
02:09
are already in East Ukraine
02:11
and what if the next step
02:15
indeed are the Baltic States
02:18
if he takes action for Estonia
02:20
Latvia or Lithuania
02:23
that is perilous
02:25
and then we end up with war and where
02:29
I am also very concerned about is
02:32
the survival of the European Union

Halbe Zijlstra Is Gone ... the position of his party's policy on Russia as a governing party in The Netherlands cannot be erased or deleted. Very, very troublesome!!

Hilarious ... after reading an article in NRC written by Hubert Smeets, I needed to find out what was behind his "Knowledge center and Window on Russia." I'm baffled of course. Wasn't that a rock 'n roll dance: twisting and turning.  ;-)

Reading through some links the coordination becomes obvious ...

Conflict Intelligense Team on Facebook - linked to warinukraine.today - somewhere our Eliott Higgins from Syrian fame - now employed by The Atlantic Council - similar relationship for DNC security hack Dmitri Alperovitch of CrowdStrike.

Mission statement Window to Russia [RaamopRusland]

Little is left of the hope for harmonious cooperation between Russia and the West. Euphoria about the end of the Cold War, a quarter of a century ago, has been replaced by disappointment and lack of interest.

We have taken our eye off Russia. This explains why the European Union was caught completely off guard when Russian president Vladimir Putin deemed the Association Agreement with Ukraine unacceptable. Pro-European protests in Kiev led to president Yanukovych fleeing the country. Russia responded by annexing Crimea and supporting a war in the Donbass region.

Europe and Russia have diametrically opposite views about cause and effect of the conflict over Ukraine. These competing interpretations lead to confusion and growing mistrust, not only in light of the conflict on Ukraine, but also of Russia's unexpected involvement in the war in Syria and other international affairs.

All the more reason to ramp up the thought, analysis and debate about East-West relations.

'Window to Russia' collects all relevant information needed to understand the current situation. Our aim is to reinvigorate the debate and provide a forum for analyses and expertise. Apart from Dutch and European viewpoints, this platform will give ample room to Russian and Ukrainian voices. Our platform also bundles the expertise available at Dutch universities and institutions, to give policy makers, politicians, journalists, entrepreneurs and the public easy access to essential information about Russia and relations between East and West in Europe.

'Window to Russia' aims to separate fact from fiction and encourage dialogue.
