... not simply capitalism?

Capital controlling the means of production, growing monopolisation, exploitation of workers leading to underconsumptionist crises, the government serving as the central organising committee of the owners of the means of production ... seems like a lot of this is in Grundrisse.

Some of the details would be off, given institutional evolution and the lack of a General Theory model of short term macroeconomic equilibrium in any monetary production economy, but in broad outline, I don't see how its not simply "capitalism".


I've been accused of being a Marxist, yet while Harpo's my favourite, it's Groucho I'm always quoting. Odd, that.
