Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

Meeting you was a great pleasure, Paul. And the lunch with linca was a very nice moment, although we might have bored him with our far-left veterans stories... BTW, as I told you, being from the American far-left makes you left of centre in Europe. This is known as the Doppler-Fizeau effect (or Redshift) due to the acceleration of the political drift between Europe and the United States.

I hope you enjoy your trip in Tuscany. I really would like to attend the May meet-up, but I'm not sure I will be able to make it.

That's another real find!

Meeting you two was a pleasure, too ! As I said, I grew up listening to my mother's far-left veteran stories, so I acquired the taste...

Finally, I may be able to join up in the May meet-up ; taking the train would be too annoying for me at this date.

She is recovering well, but she is getting tired of medical care that is often painful.

I can't deny that I am as you describe nowadays. I've had perhaps 10 political discussions on my 'petite tour' since leaving Paris. I am clearly just another member of the leftist community over here, which appears to be a near-plurality - probably a majority if they actually "organized".
