At long last.. Spain realizes that it has two things in common.. first using obscene religious language continuosly and second football...
And the left-wing rescued the spanish football team. the center-left media empire seized the spanish team into a new imaginarium (they had the retransnmission rights)... I have been listening to the left-wing radio station recalling how Spain can be together by football and how people from Asutrias, madrid poor neighbors, catalans ,andalutians play together and play the best...
Plus.. the team is absoutely nice.. there are players from all political tendencies and from all parts of Spain..and they are extremelly nice people.. they really are good people.. there are no egos as in the past.. there are no internal rifts... I am a barça fan and I thin the goalkeeper froM madrid is one of the best-serious guy I have ever seen in TV
it is really so nice... you can be a republican (as me) and feel proud of your selection.. and you can be a right-wing nut and shout a catalan name Cesc which is extrmelly difficult to pronunciate if you are not catalan...
As I have always said.. these narratives are much more powerful than anything you can imagine...Spain is going to be federal if a new financing structure agreement is reached...adn there is a huge cahnge it will happen and at long last without right-wing noise pushing the idea of madrid-city and castilla against the rest of Spain.
A pleasure I therefore claim to show, not how men think in myths, but how myths operate in men's minds without their being aware of the fact. Levi-Strauss, Claude
I am very proud of the spanish supporters in my pub.. I knew some them.. they looked like crazy.. but they were actually mathematicians.. nobody could ahve guessed.. and I am sure nobody would believe it if i would try to explain it.
