We have no functioning mechanism in the US where industrial policy can be set democratically.

Money has the votes, not people. The fact that there are small pockets like this only shows how chaotic the situation is. In NH and VT the forest service now permits logging in areas that were turned into federal preserves 100 years ago as a result of over logging at the time.

It's all very "sustainable" and is a huge eyesore in prime park land. "One forest many uses" - BS.

You tell me how to get the people back in control of their country's destiny and I'll show you the solution to issues of proper resource use.
