To answer to why it never ends one should first ask why it ever started, and kept restarting at every change of imperial suzerain of the region: that is Egypt,Babylon,Greece,Rome,Turkey Britain,and the almost inaugurated Third Reich emperor so dearly befriended by the Jerusalem Mufti.
