I recall that in August 2006, with one stroke of the pen, the entire subsidy scheme for individual wind mills got scrapped. Not that I mind too much - I personally prefer wind mills grouped in parks than haphazardly dotting the landscape everywhere, and (partly thanks to J!) there's been some significant expansion on the first.
