Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

I sent a booking request several days ago, no reply as yet. I'll phone them.

I don't think their email works too well. The first time it just got lost, but the second time I tried I got a good response .

anyway, I'm there, arriving on thursday. I'm going to be trying a home brew place I've heard about if anyone's interested.

I had that problem too. Took a second email to get an answer.

can people confirm what they won't eat (ie no fish, no eggs, etc...) to make sure that everybody can have something to eat?

I'd prefer not to have the more gristly fruits des mer, but I'm not so fussy I'd refuse it if that's all there is.

For me it's no meat (including no chicken and fish) if possible no eggs and no goat cheese.

I'm training down to Paris tomorrow evening (the 7th) so I'll be free for dinner / drinks / whatever from the 8th onward.

They've just put up some scaffolding against the building (to repair the damage from last year's fire) - so our table will be in the inside courtyard. It's nice and quiet, but we'll be less visible from the street - you need to get inside the restaurant and go through it to the back. I'll see if a sign can be put up...

Do we know how many people are coming? Geezer may be bringing the whole family but I don't know yet. Somebody might want to contact him (he's in Paris already, I believe).

Is that wheelchair-accessible?
