That's a good question, and I'm sure the Secret Cabal will answer it most expeditiously.

The hosting requirements are absolutely generic, in terms of web software and database. So the bones of it is a matter of having regular, secure offline backups of both, and a few clues as to alternative hosting services if the site's host were to be closed down, or evict us.

It's easy enough to host the site off a home PC, for example, if it were required. The harder part is the DNS stuff (name resolution, so that people can still find the site at its new home). I confess I don't have a clue about that.
