In fact, Japanese right-wing (or mainstream) individuals reached that conclusion a long time ago. You may wonder what the hell that is for, because they are the ones who love the US military presence in Okinawa.

It represents a yearning to restore nationalistic pride, not against Americans, but against Chinese and Koreans. For that purpose, they happily embrace the US military in a place they don't live and don't care.

Their idea is bankrupt anyway. We are more dependent on China than on US, in terms of trade, and the size of their economy surpasses ours this year (and growing).

My solution: join EU.

I will become a patissier, God willing.

That would make Japan the largest country in the EU, not even counting the robots. I support it out of sheer coolness factor.
