Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

The weather forecast is pretty decent for Friday (Saturday and Sunday too). Sun, some cloud, no rain - Paris skies.

Those who haven't done this before or would happily repeat the experience could join in a stroll round Montmartre (with no cultural references to wear out brains, and with appropriate stops at watering-holes to raise morale).

This is because Chez Pradel is on that side of Paris.

But if others have a yen to stroll around some other part of the city, we can get the Métro as per Bernard's helpful post. Don't hesitate to make suggestions here asap.

PS to LEP: sorry this suggestion isn't really made for you. If you've an idea of a shorter stroll you feel you could do, fire away.

What we could do is meet at the Mairie du 18me (metro Jules Joffrin); take the minibus up to the top of Montmartre (Sacre Coeur) and walk down slowly; perhaps a two hour+ walk to Chez Pradel. (the + depending on how many stops we make). I don't get tired walking downhill ;)

Hey, Grandma Moses started late!

I hope to persuade LEP to join the Paris Ambulatorily-Challenged Mens club, AKA the Pacmen.

You can't be me, I'm taken

Reasonably accurate weather forecast for the next three days in Paris from Meteo France. It's in French, so:
Vendredi: Friday
Samedi: Saturday
Dimanche: Sunday
