Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.
Glad to see that you enjoyed Lithuanian hospitalities.

If Lithuania is Europe's future for its time zone, so is Greece. In the meantime, the prime minister (SD) announced that his government will not pursue progressive taxation, as it would disbalance the system while so many people are having low income. Talking about the current "balance", he admitted that basically
(1) there is no Middle class in Lithuania;
(2) nearly 90% of population is poor.
That screams "Progressive taxation impossible" to him.

The Left politics is dead, decomposed, and bastardly buried deep. The Lithuanian SD leadership (including ministers) is transparently preparing for the EP elections in May, looking forward to serve their country from Brussels.
