Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.
12:10 GMT:

Hundreds of demonstrators have taken to the streets of the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk to protest the new Kiev government. Some of the protesters held Russian flags, with reports saying one of them was placed on top of the building of the regional administration. Anti-Maidan protesters made calls to protect their city against "occupation and intervention" on Twitter, while other Twitter users called the situation "separatism" and "propaganda." Pro-Russian sentiments are traditionally strong in the eastern Ukrainian region, where many people say they have been outraged by what they consider to be a coup in Kiev.
