Lordy. Watching Sarko on TV right now. He's asked, would you take Emmanuel Macron (current minister of the economy) in your government?
Sarko replies : He just wants to know why he stays in that government, and says lots of good things about Macron.

(why he stays is obvious : it's his government, he's making its economic policies).

The implication : Sarko would do nothing different in economic policy... But we already knew that.
