Conservative MP candidate Craig Mackinlay has been charged by the Crown Prosecution Service over the Tory election expenses scandal. The CPS announced on Friday morning that the case against Mr Mackinlay, who is fighting to keep his South Thanet seat on June 8, would proceed to court. Two other people have also been charged: Marion Little, a Tory campaign organiser, and Nathan Gray, Mr Mackinlay's election agent.
