re: storage

I skimmed the "knowledge sharing" report. The discussion is dominated by finance and planning complexity for "hybrid" installation and transmission. This information is discouraging to me, although it's easy to understand why the remote location of the site propagates real and imaginary impairment of ROI.

On the other hand, the demand doesn't seem to justify a hybrid schema. Something doesn't jibe, even if storage is only meant to power turbines.

I'm curious then how this pilot compares to solar+storage installations in New Zealand. I noticed in passing. I don't remember scale limit, but iirc ring network for battery. Also that is a Musk product.

Does that ring any bells?
