Canada intends to return the remaining five turbines for the Nord Stream to Germany, which are being repaired in Montreal, said Foreign Minister Melanie Joly. "We have made such a decision. This is exactly what Germany asked us to do, " she told the Canadian CBC television channel. Joly also noted that, according to Ottawa, Russia "should reconsider its refusal as soon as possible" to take the Siemens turbine already transferred to Germany for installation on the Nord Stream gas pipeline. In turn, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz told the TV channel that Berlin will continue to work with Canada to ensure the return of the remaining five turbines.
