One week after his visit to the civil war-torn country, McCain said the conflict is a "destabilizing" force for "all other countries in the region." "Jordan cannot last under this present scenario. Senator McCain met with rebels in Syria: spokesman
Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., made a secret visit to Syria last week and said Sunday that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has gained the "upper hand" in the conflict due in part to military aid from Russia and Hezbollah.

"Jordan cannot last under this present scenario. Fighting has started in Lebanon. This thing could spread and engulf the entire Middle East in a civil war, a regional conflict," the senator insisted.

The US an UK war propaganda machines tried to turn global public opinion in their favour to oust Saddam. UN Charter - sovereignty - borders - peacemaking. By US institutional violence, torture campaign, prison concentration camps they created a monster worse than al Qaeda: Al Baghdadi and the Islamic State became a militant force that would soon grow into a menace once the turmoil in Syria became a chaos of civil strife and foreign fighters from Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia. Afghanistan, Pakistan and Chechnya.
Saudi Arabia opened their prisons under leadership of Prince Bandar Bin Sultan of Afghanistan infamy, to lead in Syria. The Sunni and Shia divide prevented any agreement for a diplomatic solution in Geneva talks. In September 2015 Russia and Putin had enough of the bloodshed and slaughter of Christians and intervened at the request of the leadership in Damascus.
