ChatGPT vox | What Kamala Harris really thinks about Israel and Gaza, 24 July
Harris will meet with Netanyahu one-on-one on Wednesday [24 July], and the Wall Street Journal reported that she is expected to tell him "it is time for the war to end in a way where Israel is secure, all hostages are released, the suffering of Palestinian civilians in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can enjoy their right to dignity, freedom, and self-determination."

Only days into her campaign, Harris has yet to articulate her Gaza policy, but the fact that she is not attending Netanyahu's speech and privately communicating the urgency of a ceasefire signals that she might not follow Biden's lead in giving the Israeli leader a "bear hug."

< wipes tears >
If Harris does change course, even slightly, that could alter the US-Israel relationship, but could also have important electoral consequences as well.

She has a good working relationship with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who shares a passion for climate issues. She has also been on every one of the more than 20 phone calls that Biden has had with Netanyahu throughout the war.

Sitting pretty ... Biden has the experience and friendship with Netanyahu for over 50 years ... to keep your job and be effective as a future president ... bide your time ... Joe has less than a handful close advisors where there is some exchange of views and opinions ... not her paygrade.

strana | Yermak first called Kamala Harris ' adviser. What was discussed, 23 July

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a telephone conversation with National Security Adviser to US Vice President Kamala Harris Phil Gordon. Prior to Biden's refusal to participate in the elections, none of the representatives of the Ukrainian authorities had communicated with Gordon.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the central role in the updated White House administration in the event of Harris' victory in the elections will be taken by her national security adviser Phil Gordon.

Reference to WSJ insinuates that resignations from Austin, Blinken, and Sullivan in the event of a change of POTUS to Kamala?! signifies change in US-Ukraine policy. But this is silly, so Yermak called to remind Phil.
