Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

Wine, wine, fruit of the vine!

Let's see now, the price of oil on, what was it, the London market? for Brent crude? on January first?

Today: $56.11/bbl
asdf's prediction: I forget. Something around $60...

I'm looking forward to a New Year's present--unless some more cynical predictor got in there under me...

It's still along way to next friday.  And don't get that bottle opener out too fast.

IIRC, there was a guess around $56 and I was in at $52ish WTI/$51 Brent.  Kos has long since archived the diary with the bulk of the guesses so can't retrieve the data precisely.

Maybe if Jerome gets bored he can put up the $50-60 entries.  There weren't many.

The wine is dulling your memory!

Re: Countdown to 100$ oil (9) - I am taking bets (none / 0)
Light crude oil for December or January delivery, $67.68.

I guess that's Brent. I'm just going by the futures market as of today.

When's the cutoff? Can I bet on December 30th?
