I mean, if we now view ourselves as humans, part of the animal kingdom, part of the biosphere, part of the solar system, and not aliens planted by strange gods...because even if we were planted by strange gods, it seems our pleasures are entirely rooted--and I mean pleasure, not mental activity in and of itself, which can in extreme cases be unbearable--I mean...pleasures....like being on holiday...are rooted in our nervous systems and our brains' reactions to...everything....I had to go and see my boss today in re: Supervision.
