Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

Photoblog No.165

by In Wales Sun Nov 21st, 2010 at 08:00:30 AM EST

The photoblog has gone fortnightly.   You have even more opportunity to stockpile your photos for our delightful viewing.

This week's theme shall be "Changing seasons", no need to be current. We have "Photos As Usual", as usual, and "Ask the Expert" about anything you like, composition, technical things and so on.

Please try to keep to 600 pixels width and 100kb to 150kb max in file size and take a look at Wednesday Photography Blog No.2 for the technical bits on how to post.

Someone's technology automatically limits width of photos shown to 600 pixels. But it allows you to click and hold on the photos to see the larger version if the file is greater than 600 pixels in width.

Please do not click on post a comment but reply under one of the headers instead.

It's been raining almost non-stop in Paris for the past 2 (or is it 3) weeks, but we get the occasional pause and during one of these I managed to ride the Vélib back home from work, and got these spectacular colors over the Eiffel tower along the way:

While I'm generally very happy with my Android Sony-Ericsson Xperia 10, I have now twice lost photos while uploading them to the iMac. I haven't had time to investigate yet, but I don't think it's me.

How do you upload them?  Direct camera to mac connection or via a card reader?  Into a folder or through software like iPhoto?

It's a phone software driver problem, I'm sure - I upload from all sorts of image devices without problems. Sony-E have never been particularly mac-friendly. I have to go search for a driver update.

Can you transfer images via bluetooth instead?

I'll gmail or BT them to myself until I find the updated driver.
