Done, if I understood correctly that you want just one picture in the intro.

No, no I am not 60 yet (hopefully will be in 2 years). This was a guy at the table next to ours at the restaurant ( bowling club) on the river , where we always come to have a drink while walking.

Well, the 1% seem to be doing a pretty good job of creating work for luxury boat builders, resort hotel construction crews, and waiters. What is the problem?
by asdf on Sun Oct 14th, 2012 at 01:24:56 PM EST
No problemO , haha. All is good...or so they tell us...while 14000 public workers just here in QLD are waiting to lose their jobs and livelihood.
Friends daughter , that used to work in banking in London, UK for years, just got the job in banking here ( and bear in mind Brisbane is not exactly centre of the banking even in Australia). Her father just told me " You can't imagine what kind of huge money she got "...he was kind of embarrassed to even tell me...So Bankstersland is not even touched yet by this crisis...if anything it is flourishing. We are nowhere near the end of this mess...

Brissie is not expensive, no need to be in the 1% to live on the river, i do, just accept a bit of debt and some flooding from time to time.

Brissie was not that expensive 14 years ago when I came here but it's a different story now. Not that I ever was able to afford living on the river except in studio or little one bedroom apartment.
But here you go
http://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-qld-teneriffe-111457979

This is one apartment in one of these buildings that are in my photo and they ask 1,395 000...now how this is not expensive? Even on debt which you need to be able to get from the bank. Now good for you I see that you are Business Broker so things may be different for you. May husband is just poor engineer :) , so we live in suburbs...
OK they are not all so expensive and 2 bdr apartment goes from around 600000 to 900000...but hay it's a huge money. The cheapest one I found in this place is

but it's an old building and not exactly on the river.
