The United States leads in using veto to block UN Security Council debate and resolutions to condemn the Jewish State as Netanyahu insists to define the Apartheid state.
Once Trump left the scene in the White House and "friend" Joe Biden entered the presidency, European nations led by Von der Leyen, Schulz and Borrell lined up behind the Abraham "Economic" Accords with Israel to further isolate the Palestinian people. Just awful and a rightwing policy of a European Union poisoned by racism and xenophobia coming to light. Where are the protest?

US blasts 'unilateral actions' during emergency Security Council meeting called after far-right minister Ben Gvir toured flashpoint Jerusalem holy site; Palestinians warn of 'uprising'
NEW YORK -- Israel's envoy to the United Nations lashed the Palestinians for what he described as "poison and lies" at an emergency Security Council session on National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's recent visit to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
The council's members, including the US, repeatedly stressed the importance of maintaining the status quo at the flashpoint compound, while the Palestinians warned of violence and denied any Israeli claim to the site, the holiest in Judaism.
Israeli Ambassador Gilad Erdan said the meeting, held in response to the visit by Ben Gvir on Tuesday, was "absurd" and hypocritical. Ben Gvir's 13-minute visit to the site was met with international condemnations and expressions of concern.
This blog used to have some excellent bloggers who stood for the Palestinian cause of their own state covering Gaza and all of the West Bank. Today the Zionist ideal of extending the Jewish State to the Jordan River and return to biblical times of their temple in Jerusalem and free settling on the land of Palestine, their Judea and Samaria. On the area of Gaza, Israel has imposed the concentration camp strategy.

Happy Birthday European Tribune! by Jerome a Paris @dKos - June 2007 |
It's been two years today already since European Tribune went live, and I thought this would be a good opportunity to encourage you guys, who have already done so much to make that site exist, to continue to drop by and enjoy one of the highest signal-to-noise ratios of the blogosphere (says, in a typically arrogant European manner, the obviously-unbiased editor of the site!).
First of all, credit should go to Martin (Booman) who got Booman Tribune started a few months before, and suggested that we build a second site more focused on Europe. He provided the infrastructure, much needed guidance on how to run the site, and a friendly community to write for ...
I'll add a word of thank here for Welshman, who provided a lot of useful and on-point input during the preparation of the site. He finally chose not to participate to ET and we've had our disagreements since then, but he deserves a friendly nod for his role in this adventure.
Some of the early frontpagers, Soj and Sirocco are no longer with us, but they helped get the site started and provided a lot of excellent content during our first year. As far as I can tell, Soj's EuroPDB: June 13, 2005 was the first front page story 2 years ago. Colman and Fran, who joined almost from the start, as well as whataboutbob, who joined us a few weeks later ...

Israel imposes sanctions on Palestinians after moves at top UN court | Anadolu Agency |
Last week, UN approved resolution requesting International Court of Justice render 'advisory opinion' on Israeli occupation of Palestine
Israel announced a package of five sanctions against the Palestinian Authority (PA) on Friday in response to its diplomatic efforts to get the UN's top court to weigh in on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The measures were a "response to the Palestinian Authority's decision to wage political and legal war against the State of Israel," said a statement by the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following a Cabinet meeting.
It said the first decision was to divert 139 million Israeli shekels ($39 million) of taxes collected by Tel Aviv on behalf of the PA to Israelis harmed by Palestinian attacks.
The second decision was to deduct from Palestinian tax earnings the same amount of funds that the PA pays to families of Palestinian prisoners and those killed in the conflict.
Another punitive step was to halt Palestinian construction activities in Area C, denoting parts of the occupied West Bank under Israel's administrative and security control until a final status agreement is reached with the Palestinians.
The statement said the fourth sanction was to revoke the VIP cards of Palestinian officials Israel accuses of leading Palestinian efforts in the UN. These documents are used by Palestinian officials to easily pass in and out of the occupied West Bank without being harassed or searched by Israeli forces at checkpoints.
According to the statement, the fifth decision was to take measures against Palestinian institutions in the occupied West Bank accused of working against Israel.
Last week, the UN General Assembly approved a resolution requesting the International Court of Justice to weigh in on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Israeli "annexation," and the "legal status of the occupation."
The resolution, which is titled "Israeli practices and settlement activities affecting the rights of the Palestinian people and other Arabs of the occupied territories," was promoted by the PA and it was passed by a vote of 87 in favor, 26 against, and 53 abstaining.
It calls on the top UN court to "render urgently an advisory opinion" on Israel's "prolonged occupation, settlement and annexation of Palestinian territory."

There is no turning back. It is time to learn a new lesson: We do no longer recognize the state of Israel. We could not recognize the South African apartheid regime, nor did we recognize the Afghan Taliban regime. Then there were many who did not recognize Saddam Hussein's Iraq or the Serbs' ethnic cleansing. We must now get used to the idea: The state of Israel in its current form is history.
We do not believe in the notion of God's chosen people. We laugh at this people's fancies and weep over its misdeeds. To act as God's chosen people is not only stupid and arrogant, but a crime against humanity. We call it racism.

Among Israel's Arab Citizens, Fury Grows | Posted by Sirocco | Aug 7, 2006 |
However much Israel's war of choice is sold to its Jewish majority as a war of necessity, this doesn't work with Arabs. Least of all with Israel's own 1.3 million Arab citizens, many of whom are also victims of the increasingly savage missile attacks, and nearly all of whom watch Arabic TV stations.
These Israeli Arabs, or Palestinians, were disenchanted with the "Jewish state" of Israel at the outset. This is due not only to solidarity with their kin in the occupied areas. Nor is it only due to the apartheid-like law reserving 94 percent of land for Jewish purchase only; nor to the one excluding Muslims from serving in the military (thus limiting their eligibility for social benefits) as well as in the police, the security services, and the prisons (though not as inmates); nor to a host of discriminatory statutes ranging from a 2003 "emergency regulation" restricting the right of Arabs to naturalize their families, to lower children's allowances for non-Jews. It is due to the sum of all these, and more generally, to systematically occupying the lowest rung of the socioeconomic ladder.

Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook As Censor In Chief - Crazy Moron | Sep 9, 2016 |
Not once but twice, the official Aftenposten newspaper got hit by removal, warning and sanction. No editors, but a Facebook algoritm was to blame, says goeroe Mark. In the meantime he manages to cut critics of Israel and human rights activists in the Gulf states. At last, the 1984 scenes have come to pass ... be sure to maintain all the digital social sites for contacts.
Facebook removed iconic Vietnam War photo of napalm girl
Norway's largest newspaper has published a front-page open letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, lambasting the company's decision to censor a historic photograph of the Vietnam war and calling on Zuckerberg to recognize and live up to his role as "the world's most powerful editor".
Espen Egil Hansen, the editor-in-chief and CEO of Aftenposten, accused Zuckerberg of thoughtlessly "abusing your power" over the social media site that has become a lynchpin of the distribution of news and information around the world, writing, "I am upset, disappointed - well, in fact even afraid - of what you are about to do to a mainstay of our democratic society."

The controversy stems from Facebook's decision to delete a post by Norwegian writer Tom Egeland that featured The Terror of War, a Pulitzer prize-winning photograph by Nick Ut that showed children - including the naked 9-year-old Kim Phúc - running away from a napalm attack during the Vietnam war. Egeland's post discussed "seven photographs that changed the history of warfare" - a group to which the "napalm girl" image certainly belongs.
Too much of a coincidence or part of a strategy to reduce leftist criticism of war and Israel's policy contra Palestinians ... at the same time Zuckerberg was cooperating with Steve Bannon of the Trump political campaign, son-in-law Jared Kushner, family friend of Bibi Netanyahu, with Cambridge Analytica to nudge the result of the presidential election 2016 to his advantage.

How MI-7 Fake News in 1917 Impacted the Nazi Genocide | Feb 19, 2017 |
In the spring of 1917 some of Britain's most influential newspapers published a gruesome story that has been called "the master hoax" - and I think we finally have proof about where it came from. Britain was at the time trying to bring China into the war on the Allied side.
In February a story appeared in the English-language North China Daily News that claimed the Kaiser's forces were "extracting glycerine out of dead soldiers". Rumours about processing dead bodies had been in circulation since 1915 but had not been presented as facts by any official source.
`Smell of burnt limes'
That changed in April when the Times and the Daily Mail published accounts from anonymous sources who claimed to have visited the Kadaververwertungsanstalt, or corpse-utilisation factory. The Times ran the story under the headline Germans and their Dead, attributing the claim to two sources - a Belgian newspaper published in England and a story that originally appeared in a German newspaper, Berliner Lokal-Anzeiger on 10 April.
