The United States should finally end its campaign of terror across the globe fighting illusionary enemies and adversaries, instilling fears and endless wars.
The Western Atlanticists should stop its support of terror groups by providing asylum and safe havens after murdering civilians on a mass scale. The double standard will just return to haunt you as we have witnessed in the 9/11 attacks.
No lessons learned and the White House and US Congress prefer military confrontation and conflicts, while diplomacy is completely doomed to failure.
End the terror campaign on the sovereign state, the Islamic Republic of Iran, a member of the United Nations and protected by the UN Charter. Terror begets terror, revenge attacks should and can stop immediately. Start diplomacy for a START like treaty to stop the hybrid warfare of terror groups, proxies for the West, sometimes framed as "freedom fighters". The scourge of terror has no end, unless the politicians of powerful states decide it is enough. I call them politicians because responsible leadership has been lacking for decades.

Iranian diplomat Assadolah Assadi was convicted of attempted terrorism Thursday by a court in Belgium for his role in a 2018 bomb plot targeting an Iranian opposition group in France. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The court ruled that Assadi and three others sought to kill top leaders of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) during a rally near Paris. The plot was uncovered ahead of time by German, French and Belgian police.
Investigators say Assadi transported the explosives for the plot on a commercial flight to Austria from Iran, according to a document by Belgium's federal prosecutor seen by Reuters news agency.
Three Iranians with dual Belgian citizenship were convicted as Assadi's accomplices. All three have had their Belgian citizenship stripped.

On July 22, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo addressed an Iranian-American audience at the Reagan Presidential Library in California. The speech is part of a deliberate policy of escalating tensions with Iran, targeting its economy and supporting Iranian opposition groups--all for the purpose of pressuring and destabilizing Iran. At least one member of an Iranian terrorist group that has killed American citizens will also be in attendance. But it won't be to disrupt Pompeo's speech; rather, to support it. In fact, the member is on the invitation list.
Last month, the same terrorist group held an event in Paris, busing in thousands of young people from Eastern Europe to hear Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani call for regime change in Tehran. A similar event in Paris last year was addressed by John Bolton, who recently became President Trump's national security adviser.

From Internment to Resettlement of Refugees on US Obligations Towards MEK Defectors in Iraq
This article focuses on the plight of defectors from the Mujahedin-e Khalq (`MeK'), an Iranian opposition group hosted by Saddam Hussein in Iraq until the United States took control of their main camp, Camp Ashraf in April 2003. In the period of US control, nearly 600 persons defected from the MeK.
The US Army housed the defectors in what was known as the Temporary Internment and Protection Facility (`TIPF'). It was contractually agreed upon that the voluntary internment of the TIPF residents, who were granted refugee status by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in 2006, would end as soon a viable disposition option was available: either voluntary repatriation to Iran, local integration in Iraq or resettlement in a third state.
For a group of approximately 200 refugees, none of these options were available when the US closed the TIPF in April 2008. These refugees were advised to make their way to Europe via Iraqi Kurdistan and Turkey. Most of them suffered extreme hardship along the way in the form of detention, refoulement and sometimes torture and death.

Iraq plans to close a camp for Iranian dissidents who used to cross into Iran to mount assassinations and sabotage - a decision that has sharpened political differences between Baghdad and Washington.
Camp Ashraf, about 80 miles north of Baghdad, came under Iraqi control yesterday in a broad security handover that forms part of the US withdrawal agreement concluded late last year.
Iraq's national security adviser, Mowaffaq al-Rubaie, led a delegation of defence and interior ministry officials to the camp last weekend, warning its 2,500 male and 1,000 female inmates that "staying in Iraq is not an option". The Iraqi government said it "is keen to execute its plans to close the camp and send its inhabitants to their country or other countries in a non-forcible manner".
US troops disarmed the opposition group known as the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) after the 2003 invasion. They removed hundreds of armoured vehicles donated by Saddam Hussein but kept the camp intact because some Bush administration officials allegedly saw the MEK as a potential tool for regime change in Iran.

The US and EU placed the MEK on their lists of terrorist organisations after 9/11. Last year Europe's court of first instance ruled it should be removed from the EU list on the grounds it had not carried out terrorist activities for years. Lord Corbett, a Labour peer who has long supported the movement, and other British parliamentarians last month signed a letter to the Iraqi government urging it not to close Camp Ashraf. MPs in other European countries have made similar appeals.

The ministry, in a statement released on Monday, announced that authorities launched rigorous and round-the-clock intelligence, counter-intelligence and security operations soon after the attack and managed to identify and capture all those behind the bloody act of terror.
The statement said that the detainees are nationals of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan, and none of them are Iranians.
It further noted that the terrorist who played the main role of coordinating the terror attack is an Azerbaijani national who entered Iran via Imam Khomeini International Airport, southwest of Tehran, en route from Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku.
According to the statement, he immediately informed a collaborator in Azerbaijan of his arrival in Tehran and then contacted a network of foreign members of the notorious Daesh Takfiri terrorist group in Afghanistan, better known as Daesh in Khorasan Province, and told them that he was in Iran.
In 1988, during the waning days of Iraq's war with Iran, the United States learned through satellite imagery that Iran was about to gain a major strategic advantage by exploiting a hole in Iraqi defenses. U.S. intelligence officials conveyed the location of the Iranian troops to Iraq, fully aware that Hussein's military would attack with chemical weapons, including sarin, a lethal nerve agent.
