Saw this press briefing LIVE at the UN General Assembly, the video popped up just now ...

United front of Gulf Arabs and OIC: unusual assurance of security and chilling consequences for Israel | UN News |

Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Friday made a forceful interruption during a press conference outside the UN Security Council when he warned Israel to end the escalation in the region or face consequences. He also assured Israel of security from the Arab nations if it ended the siege of Gaza and paved the way for the creation of an independent State of Palestine.

At the same time after storming out of the UNGA hall, angered by lack of applause, Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu in a backroom communicated the order for a massive aerial attack on Beirut. Never mentioned the 21 day ceasefire proposal on the table negotiated by France and the United States.

The Jewish State of Israel and the White House had set a path for further escalation ... military support by the Pentagon flooding the region with assets and thousands more troops.

Joe Biden sealing the second Trump victory to become the next president ... the American people have been brainwashed for so many years, with the world in chaos they will never elect a very inexperienced (woman) to be Commander-in-Chief ... damn you Joe - Democrats and so-called progressive community ... division and years of lies and propaganda ... the lessons of the 1930s in Europe forgotten ⁉️

As wars in Ukraine and the Middle East deepen, the U.S. presidential campaign is raising a crucial question: ...

Will the election be about trust, experience and change from four years Joe Biden ... Kamala Harris has worked in the shadow and no profile for the electorate.

As a result of the current security situation, the U.S. Embassy has directed all U.S. government employees and their family members to shelter in place until further notice.

This is provided for your information as you make your own security plans.

I would not be surprised if the U.S. sends a warning ... an atomic bomb to a uninhabited part of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Pre-emptive strike ...

Israel's government `wants regional war': Israeli historian

`Israel sees a regional war as something positive that would create a new reality which would enable the whole of historical Palestine to become Jewish and a Jewish state,' says Ilan Pappe.

Türkiye can play a key role in bringing peace to the region in the face of Israel's policy of occupation, which has been worsening regional tensions since last October, renowned Israeli historian Ilan Pappe told Anadolu.

'The current
Israeli government
wants regional war'

The Israeli-born historian at the UK's University of Exeter described the Israeli government as "neo-Zionist and messianic," and criticized Tel Aviv's pro-war stance as he shared his views about Israel's policies, pro-war approaches that raise tensions in the region, his journey to oppose Zionism and Türkiye's role in the Palestinian issue.

"Israel sees a regional war as something positive that would create a new reality which would enable the whole of historical Palestine to become Jewish and a Jewish state. While Hezbollah and Iran are actually pursuing a more pragmatic policy that tries to avoid an escalation into a regional war, we have Israel pushing for a war," he said.

Pappe, known for his anti-Zionism views, said his academic career and close relations with Palestinian intellectuals were an important turning point for him in coming to the point where he stands.

Netanyahu is promising a forever war | JVP - 27 June 2024 |

Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he would not accept any permanent ceasefire. He forecasted that the most intense period of Israeli military violence may be drawing to a close, but allowed only for negotiations to continue for prisoner swaps.

Beyond the nine-month-long genocide that Israel has wrought on Gaza, Netanyahu is now pushing towards full-scale war with Lebanon -- which could drag Syria, Iran, and the entire region into the conflict.

Forever war

For months, the Israeli government has been dragging its feet and creating impossible conditions during ceasefire negotiations.

Now that the Israeli government has engineered a total humanitarian crisis in Gaza, it can continue its genocide by attrition, so long as there is no permanent ceasefire deal. Meanwhile, fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, which is strongest in southern Lebanon, has expanded in recent weeks.

Instead, he's pushing to expand Israel's bombing of Lebanon into a second front of the war, one which could destabilize the entire region.

My comment ...

Satellite images of the Nevatim base in southern Israel show significant damage to several buildings near the runway, with debris scattered in the area. Cloud cover left large areas hidden and the military censorship kept the extend of the damaged under wraps.

The key bas is home to the Israeli Air Force's most advanced aircraft, including C-130J military transport planes, Boeing 707 and KC-130H refueling planes, GV Shavit and G550 Eitam/Oron early warning and intelligence planes, F-35I fighter jets and even the Boeing 767-338ER Wing of Zion plane used by senior officials.

At least seven videos showed 20 to 30 Iranian ballistic missiles hitting the base, causing substantial damage, with over 20 fighter jets destroyed.

The Israeli military acknowledged damage to some airbases in the missile strikes but claimed that fighter jets, drones, and critical infrastructure remained unaffected. They reported that only office buildings and maintenance areas were hit.

Iranian missiles hit Israeli military sites, visuals show | WaPo News - updated |

Some missiles broke through air defenses to strike or land near at least three Israeli military and intelligence installations.

At least two dozen long-range Iranian ballistic missiles broke through Israeli and allied air defenses on Tuesday night, striking or landing near at least three military and intelligence installations, according to a review of videos and photos of the attack and aftermath.

Videos verified by The Washington Post showed 20 missiles striking the Nevatim air base, in the southern Negev desert, and three striking the Tel Nof base, in central Israel. Analysts told The Post the visuals were consistent with direct impacts on the bases rather than debris from intercepted missiles. Other videos showed that at least two missiles landed near Tel Aviv in Cinema City Glilot, Hod Hasharon, close to Israel's Mossad spy agency headquarters, leaving at least two craters.

The findings raise questions about the full scope of the damage to Israeli military bases and suggest that Iran was more successful in evading Israel's defenses than in April, when only two munitions eluded air defenses and impacted Israel, according to Post reporting.

Mr. Security keeping the Israeli public stupid. Military censorship and Hasbara diplomacy has failed to detriment of the Jewish State. Israel has come a long way from the 1991 interception of Saddam's missile barrage on its territory.

Netanyahu, Gallant, Ben Gvir and the IDF War Cabinet making a mockery of Israel's security in a volatile environment of its own creation.

Throughout the entire Gulf War air campaign, Iraqi forces fired approximately 42 Scud missiles into Israel from 17 January to 23 February 1991. The strategic and political goal of the Iraqi campaign was to provoke an Israeli military response and potentially jeopardize the United States-led coalition against Iraq, which had full backing and/or extensive contributions from an overwhelming majority of the states of the Muslim world and would have suffered immense diplomatic and material losses if Muslim-majority states rescinded their support due to the political situation of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Despite inflicting casualties on Israeli civilians and damaging Israeli infrastructure, Iraq failed to provoke Israeli retaliation due to pressure exerted by the United States on the latter to not respond to "Iraqi provocations" and avoid any bilateral escalations.
