Baerbock Not Genocide, But Collateral Damage

Green Party leader explains the Jewish State cannot be culpable of genocide in defending itself against hordes of Palestinians at its borders. 1948 to the present 🤬

German FM: Israel can kill civilians in Gaza to 'defend itself'

Germany's Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, addressed parliament yesterday and justified Israel's targeting of civilians in Gaza. 'Self-defence means not only attacking terrorists but destroying them. When Hamas terrorists hide behind people, behind schools... civilian places lose their protected status because terrorists abuse it.'

This, however, is not true, according to human rights lawyer, Craig Mokhiber. The former senior UN human rights official told MEMO claims that Israel has a right to 'self-defence' in Gaza don't have a standing in international law.

This is why MSNBC doesn't want you to watch Jeremy Scahill's interview | TRT World |

A veteran journalist called out MSNBC for its biased reporting and promoting Israeli propaganda. His interview was pulled down.

On October 20, MSNBC's journalist Ayman Mohyeldin hosted veteran journalist Jeremy Scahill to talk about the recent killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, what it means and its influence on potential ceasefire talks.
Scahill is co-founder of Drop Site News and is known for playing a crucial role in building The Intercept media outlet.

The episode on MSNBC's weekend show was aired and later posted on the channel's social media accounts. However, only a day later, the interview was deleted from the channel's online platforms, sparking concerns about censoring of voices that are critical of Israeli war in Gaza.

In the interview, Scahill says Israel has been waging an "extermination campaign in the north of Gaza for the past two weeks".

"There is no food or medicine of any kind that can reach the north."

American-Jewish scholar says Israel has launched `genocidal campaign of extermination' in Gaza | MEMO - 22 Feb 2024 |

Trachtenberg emphasised that one of the main reasons behind Israel's genocidal attacks on Palestinians is its "Zionist ideology".

He said Israelis believe the Palestinian Territories they occupy as the property and eternal homeland of the Jewish people.

"All other people who are present in that Territory, who aren't Jewish, are seen as, therefore, enemies of that vision."

"So, these moments of crisis are really just attempts to further cleanse the land of Palestinians. And unlike what we saw in 1948, with the Nakba, and what we saw in 1967, with the expansion of Israel, into these Territories, what we're seeing now is they're embarking upon a genocidal campaign to destroy the Palestinian people in its entirety, especially those in Gaza at the moment," he said.

Israel's approach since 1948 has
not made Jews safer in the world

Trachtenberg pointed out that Israel ignored the International Court of Justice (ICJ) orders to prevent genocide in Gaza and that thousands of people lost their lives after that decision last month. He noted that Israeli officials continuing attacks against Palestinians believe they should act alone in the world and they consider everyone their enemies.

He stated that Israel believes international rules do not apply to Tel Aviv.
"Unfortunately, what that ignores is that anti-Semitism historically has not existed in a vacuum. But it's actually intertwined with other forms of hatred and bigotry," he said.

As an American-Jewish scholar who closely studies Jewish history, Trachtenberg suggested that Jews acknowledge that the oppression they have faced in history is intertwined with the oppression experienced by other peoples and that forming solidarity with others can make the world safer for everyone.

As UN warns entire Population of Gaza is at Risk of Death, Bill Clinton says he's not keeping Score

Clinton's callous and morally stupid words explain how a majority of Americans can close their eyes to a year of Israeli genocide. He, and they, should read my new book, Gaza Yet Stands. Clinton makes it sound as though the Palestinians have no legitimate grievances, even though 70 percent of families in Gaza had been driven out of their homes by the Israelis and made penniless refugees, while Israelis stole all their land and property.

Silence!

A poem for those mocked and gaslighted for decrying the genocide of the Palestinian people.

At her October 25 rally in Houston, Kamala Harris told pro-Palestine protestors to leave her rally and "rally down the street." Shortly thereafter, during the same rally, she said that her campaign is the one for "freedom and democracy." Her response to demonstrators, mirrored by our news media, have repeatedly mocked Americans who decry the genocide of the Palestinian people.

    [...]

    Silence!
    We have arms to sell.
    We have pockets to line.
We have senators and congressmen to elect and elevate.
We have senators and congressmen to defeat and displace.
    And a president withering away,
And a possible first woman president,
And a possible forever term president.

    Silence!
You are not a witness to a genocide.
    What genocide?

Sachs: "Neither is qualified. Both deserve to lose."

By b on MofA - Nov 4, 2024

I will not vote for a candidate that doesn't meet the minimum threshold for being president of the United States and we have two candidates, lead candidates, that don't. And so I decided I'm not voting - period. Because I want a candidate that actually has some possibility of doing something.
Now maybe they will but not based on what they say every day.

It is a profession of love for Israel's murderous reign in the Middle East. Okay, by itself I wouldn't support that. That's enough for me because Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza and it's sickening and it's obvious and we see it every day. And if a candidate can't figure out to say something about then I can't support them. Period.

But then Kamala Harris, who would normally be my candidate because I was a lifelong Democratic Party voter. Although with great disappointment whether they won or lost. Because when they won I was disappointed with what they did. When they lost I was disappointed that my candidate lost. So I've never been happy for a while about us politics.

It's been five miserable presidents as far as I'm concerned from Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden, awful all of them. They brought us to the brink of nuclear war. I can't forgive them for that kind of recklessness.
