Joe's Coercive Diplomacy and Genocide

State Department spokesman Matthew Miller was telling reporters the US 'doesn't dictate to any country what it must do', when a reporter's reply caused laughter in the press briefing room.

Joe Biden: JCPOA Is Dead

Joe only negotiate with allies and wages war with harsh sanctions against America's adversaries.

It's so fu*king funny the neocon wars in the Middle East on behalf of ally Israel and causing over a million dead, a majority innocent civilians. Millions were displaced, moved as war refugees with many coming to Europe. Watch the new majority of far-right populist voters who have been left behind as Uncle Sam battled the ghosts of terror.

Tasting Ice Cream Joe’s Serious Talk On Genocide

The big bull$hitter … don’t believe one damn word this Zionist president utters …

Biden says he hopes to see a cease-fire by next week in the Israel-Hamas war | NBC News |

Biden sees March 4 Gaza Ceasefire, But 1.4 mn. Displaced Can’t go Home | Informed Comment |

While this news is good, the entire performance struck me as deeply distasteful. Eating an ice cream cone while casually discussing the fate of 2.2 million people whom you have incessantly bombed for months, killing 200 a day and destroying most of their homes? Making an offhand announcement affecting women, children, and thousands of orphans as a photo op while palling around with a comedian? I mean, it is the epitome of white privilege, of playing masters of the universe with other people’s lives.

Basem Naim, Hamas’s head of political and international relations, has told Al Jazeera that there is still a long way to go to secure a potential ceasefire deal with Israel.

“The gap is still wide. We have to discuss a lot of points with the mediators,” said Naim.

He added that the optimistic posture of the Biden administration is not “related to the reality on the ground” and has more to do with domestic political considerations in an election year.

“If the Americans want to be really optimistic, they have to end their game of double standards,” Naim said.

“They talk about wanting a ceasefire and avoiding broadening the conflict in the region, but at the same time they are using their veto in the UN Security Council, they are providing billions of dollars to Israel, and they are securing more ammunition for Israel.”

White House says Biden is ‘working 24/7’ for Gaza deal

Spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre says the US president and his aides are pushing to secure a truce agreement between Israel and Hamas that would see the release of Israeli captives and allow aid into the Palestinian territory.

Biden faced an electoral setback on Tuesday when more than 100,000 people voted uncommitted in Michigan’s Democratic primary to protest against his support for Israel.

Jean-Pierre said the White House will continue conversations with Arab and Muslim American communities about their concerns over Gaza. She also appeared to play down the significance of the protest vote.

IDF and protesters still block delivery of humanitarian aid through Rafah border crossing.

MILLER: We are committed to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
QUESTION: They do not—
MILLER: They are not currently a state.
QUESTION: So they have—they have no sovereignty.
MILLER: We are trying to establish sovereignty for the Palestinians.
QUESTION: No, I know. But currently, they don't. Right?
MILLER: We are trying to establish it for them.
QUESTION: Okay. So can you think of any other—like how does this compare to Taiwan, for example?
MILLER: I think this is the—you'd need to —
QUESTION: No. In terms of your—your belief in sovereignty.
MILLER: It is—
QUESTION: So you have a "one China" policy as it relates to China and Taiwan which indicates that Taiwan is not sovereign, and yet you treat them as a sovereign —maybe not a state, but a sovereign eNtiTY. With the Palestinians, do you treat them with the same kind of regard, that maybe they're not a sovereign state or you do not recognize them as a sovereign state, but at least they have a right of self-determination?
MILLER: So we do not treat them as a sovereign state, but we are trying to establish an independent Palestinian state—
[...]
QUESTION: Okay. But they do not currently enjoy your - the administration's—thinking and previous administrations' thinking as well. They do not enjoy the rights of sovereignty that, say, Israel or Jordan or Australia or Madagascar have.
MILLER: So I don't know what you mean by the question, but we do not recognize them as an independent state. That's a factual matter.

The Jewish State will never be able to erase Palestinian culture and history. Denial of Nakba, Palestinian refugees and UNRWA will not succeed.

Ayia Napa: Woman convicted of gang rape lie wins appeal | BBC News - 31 Jan. 2022 |

A British woman who reported being gang-raped in Cyprus has had her conviction for allegedly lying about the attack overturned.

The woman, then 19, told Cypriot police she had been raped by 12 Israeli men and boys in Ayia Napa in July 2019.

The Derbyshire teenager retracted the allegation after being held without a lawyer, and was then tried and convicted of causing public mischief.

Her conviction was overturned at the Supreme Court in Cyprus.

The woman's case had outraged women's rights campaigners, who gathered outside court ahead of the decision being handed down.

Today's post ...

Redemption through genocide

The ICJ ruled that Israel's Gaza campaign poses a plausible and urgent threat of genocide. Future historians of Jewish messianism may recount how in 2024 "redemption through sin" became "redemption through genocide," with unconditional U.S. support.

The US as defender of democracy won't win votes. Donald Trump gets it, but Joe Biden doesn't | The Guardian Opinion |

Biden is not the admired foreign policy maestro he seems to think he is. Hundreds of US officials have publicly rejected his Israel policy. So have European and Arab allies, amazed he's so out of touch.

In a pompous "urgent message" to Biden last week, the New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman [WTF] warned, belatedly, that America's global standing was plummeting alongside Israel's.

"I don't think Israelis or the Biden administration fully appreciate the rage that is bubbling up around the world ... over the deaths of so many thousands of Palestinian civilians, particularly children, with US-supplied weapons in Gaza," Friedman wrote. This is hardly a fresh insight. Biden, deaf to - or careless of - fury overseas, clings to outdated thinking based on Israeli exceptionalism and entitlement. Sometimes the Atlantic seems very wide indeed.

Biden may be finally waking up to his Israel-related electoral peril. The 13% of Michigan Democrats who voted "uncommitted", rather than for him, could spark a rolling, nationwide de facto boycott of his candidacy, starting with this week's Super Tuesday primaries. Biden will surely win his party's nomination. But his cause is tarnished.
