NATO Institute Propagating FEAR

by Oui Sat Mar 30th, 2024 at 07:38:03 PM EST

Unbelievable bull ... his pay grade, right Joe?

The highest NATO Dutch military Rob Bauer is concerned about our safety. "During a pandemic you want to hear from a doctor about the situation. In a time of war you want to hear from the military about what's going on."

In an extensive interview, the admiral explains where we stand. Nothing can happen to us, right? "We thought that too in the May days of 1940."

The dumbest to teach the dumbest amongst us ...

No Pentagon teachings for me Sir ... my dad was part of the general mobilization in May 1940 in the South of Holland to secure the Moerdijkbrug in case of a German invasion.

In the States I learned your lies and falsehoods in the 1960s and the slaughter of civilians during the Vietnam War, consequences for Laos, Thailand and Cambodia. Horror of war crimes.

Post 9/11 the criminal acts continued in Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. War is not an instrument to settle obvious differences that could be solved by diplomacy. Americans are from Mars and act as Barbarians because they can.  Theirs closest ally Israel is demonstrating the horror of war for all to see the past six months .... correct that, 75 years.

Warmongering has peaked as the destruction of a proxy war in Ukraine has not resulted in regaining territory, but loss of the whole eastern, Russian speaking Ukraine. The corporate media in The Netherlands feed the war narrative with clear propaganda ... censoring truths and a contrary opinion. Same for all domestic abuse of human rights perpetrated by cabinets I thru IV of Mark Rutte ...

Speech by the Chair of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, Kyiv Security Forum

Mr Yatsenyuk, dear Arseniy,

Your Excellencies,

Dear Ukrainian friends and colleagues,

After these inspiring words from the NATO Secretary General, it is my distinct honour to address you here in Kyiv.

I am grateful for the opportunity to travel to Ukraine in person and to meet with your political and military leadership.

It allows me to express my deep respect for the courage and strength you have displayed, both on and off the battlefield.

My visit ─ the first NATO military delegation to visit Ukraine since the large-scale invasion ─ is testament to the fact that NATO and Ukraine are closer than they have ever been.

With every day that passes, we become closer.

More interoperable.

More intertwined.

Together, we are putting everything into place to make Ukraine a member of our Alliance.

The Swedish flag will not be the only blue and yellow flag at the NATO headquarters.

Because we all believe in the power of democracy.

That is what is at stake here.

Russia's war against Ukraine has never been about any real security threat coming from either Ukraine or NATO.

This war is about President Putin fearing something much more powerful than any physical weapon on earth: democracy.

If people in Ukraine can have democratic rights... real democratic rights... then people in Russia will soon crave them too.

That is what this war is actually about.

In 2024, more than 2 billion people on earth will cast their vote in a democratic election... and yet the concept of democracy needs to be defended more than ever.

Real democracy is about choice.

It is about making sure that those in power are held accountable.

And about having the freedom to determine the direction you think your country should take.

Real democracy can only exist under the rule of law that applies to all.
In Russia... there is no choice, only force.

And the rule of law is a façade.

A piece of theatre the leadership put on, to fool people into thinking they were playing along.

With the illegal annexation of Crimea, they already showed their blatant disregard for the rules-based international order.

FEAR . . FEAR . . FEAR . . FEAR . . FEAR . . FEAR . .

United States and Israel ... disregard for the rules-based international order

U.S. Politics and PropOrNot Disinformation Campaign

United States Senate,
Committee on Foreign Relations,
Washington, DC, January 10, 2018

Dear Colleagues: For years, Vladimir Putin's government has engaged in a relentless assault to undermine democracy and the rule of law in Europe and the United States. Mr. Putin's Kremlin employs an asymmetric arsenal that includes military invasions, cyberattacks, disinformation, support for fringe political groups, and the weaponization of energy resources, organized crime, and corruption. The Kremlin has refined the use of these tools over time and these attacks have intensified in scale and complexity across Europe. If the United States fails to work with urgency to address this complex and growing threat, the regime in Moscow will become further emboldened. It will continue to develop and refine its arsenal to use on democracies around the world, including against U.S. elections in 2018 and 2020.

Following attacks like Pearl Harbor and 9/11, U.S. presidents have rallied the country and the world to address the challenges facing the nation. Yet the current President of the United States has barely acknowledged the threat posed by Mr. Putin's repeated attacks on democratic governments and institutions, let alone exercised the kind of leadership history has shown is necessary to effectively counter this kind of aggression. Never before in American history has so clear a threat to national security been so clearly ignored by a U.S. president.

Introducing PropOrNot:
Identifying & Combatting Russian Online Propaganda
October 30, 2016

Executive Summary: Russia's attempts to influence the US election via hacking and selectively leaking sensitive US government and political data are not being conducted in isolation. They are accompanied by large-scale and long-term efforts to build online propaganda outlets with significant audiences in the US, which we estimate to number in the tens of millions of Americans.

Thus far we at PropOrNot have identified over 200 distinct websites which qualify as Russian propaganda outlets according to our criteria, and target audiences in the United States. We estimate the regular US audiences of these sites to number in the tens of millions. We are gathering data to measure that more precisely, but we are confidant that it includes at least 15 million Americans.

The messaging used by these Russian propaganda outlets seems intended to confuse public opinion, encourage paranoia, distract American audiences away from relying on actually-accurate journalism, and influence the upcoming US election, while blunting opposition to and strengthening popular support for Russian strategic priorities - and even going so far as to lay the groundwork for, in the immediate aftermath of the upcoming election, Russian-orchestrated political violence in the US.

We at PropOrNot do not reach our conclusions lightly. We have arrived at them after systematically employing a combination of manual and automated analysis of open-source non-classified information, and building on the work of other researchers and journalists, in order to map out a related collection of websites, social media, video, and other outlets, which:

  1. Include official state-owned and semi-official Russian propaganda outlets, such as RT, Sputnik News, Russia Insider, etc.;
  2. Consistently cite official state-owned and semi-official Russian propaganda outlets, including the Russian defense ministry and other official spokespeople, etc.;
  3. Consistently reuse text directly from official state-owned and semi-official Russian propaganda outlets and government spokespeople, often with minimal or no attribution;
  4. Have a history of generally echoing the Russian propaganda "line", by using themes, arguments, talking points, images, and other content similar to those used by official state-owned and semi-official Russian propaganda outlets;

I had no problem to recognize the article and authors for what it was ... a project of false accusations, character assassination and disinformation from U.S. intelligence sources.
