Trump tells Republicans to vote to release Epstein files, in a reversal of his previous stance | The Guardian |

Trump's post on his Truth Social came after House speaker Mike Johnson said earlier that he believed a vote on releasing justice department documents in the Epstein case should help put to rest allegations "that he [Trump] has something to do with it".

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Sunday: "House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide.

"And it's time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat H 'Shutdown'."

Although Trump and Epstein were photographed together decades ago, the president has said the two men fell out before Epstein's convictions. Emails released last week by a House committee showed the disgraced financier, who died by suicide in jail in 2019, believed Trump "knew about the girls," though it was not clear what that phrase meant.

Trump, who has recently dismissed the Epstein files as a Democratic smear campaign, has since instructed the justice department to investigate prominent Democrats' ties to Epstein.

Besides good friend Trump, Epstein’s network of girl prostitution extended beyond Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, etc., etc.

Emails reveal Epstein’s network of the rich and powerful despite sex offender status

By the time Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution from an underage girl, he had established an enormous network of wealthy and influential friends. Emails made public this week show the crime did little to diminish the desire of that network to stay connected to the financier.

Thousands of documents released by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday offer a new glimpse into what Epstein’s relationships with business executives, reporters, academics and political players looked like over a decade.

They start with messages he sent and received around the time he finished serving his Florida sentence in 2009 and continue until the months before his arrest on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019.

During that time, Epstein’s network was eclectic, spanning the globe and political affiliations: from the liberal academic Noam Chomsky to Steve Bannon, the longtime ally of President Donald Trump.

Major peace settlement in Middle East

Netanyahu statement there will never be an independent Palestinian State ...

Netanyahu admits he managed to frustrate a peace settlement for decades and he will do so until full ownership of Judea and Samaria has been re-established by the Jewish State of Israel... we will end apartheid on our terms. 🥹

In Israel, whistleblowers are criminals and rapists are heroes | Arab News |

Large elements of the media see such stories as shattering this carefully constructed narrative: the barbaric Arab-Muslim against the civilized Israeli Jew. Sexual abuse and torture simply do not fit, just as genocide and apartheid do not fit.

Sde Teiman is Israel's Guantanamo, its Abu Ghraib. It is a wake-up call to all those who still somehow consider the Israeli state a bastion of democracy and liberal values when barbarism is at the helm.
