If you're an Israeli arms maker, genocide pays. Big time. This graph lists Israel's top weapons manufacturers and their stock market returns on the Tel Aviv exchange. Some of the biggest winners?
These results reflect the key role the Israeli weapons regime plays in Israel's genocide in Gaza and the massive profits it's generated. I call it the "genocide-industrial complex." They are committing genocide on industrial scale. It is unlike other modern genocides because it's not neighbor killing neighbor like in Rwanda or Bosnia; it's not even one ethnic group killing another like in Myanmar. This is a comprehensive genocide utilizing conventional warfare and cyber-war capabilities, including AI-powered weaponry and a massive surveillance system.
As an added "bonus" for the Israeli weapons makers: this is a genocide that can and will be exported like a product to other authoritarian nations with restive populations demanding subjugation.
These companies are providing the weapons and technology that enables the carnage, while generating massive profits on the backs of Palestinian suffering. US companies are sharing in the bounty by providing some of their most lethal and sophisticated missiles used for some of the most controversial missions, which have included assassinations of Palestinian, Lebanese and Iranian officials throughout the region.
Palantir is among the most contentious for its use of vast datasets to target both US immigrants for detention and deportation; and Palestinians in Gaza. It has formed a "strategic partnership" with the IDF, providing some of its major surveillance systems.

YouTube offered conflicting explanations for deleting the account of Robert Inlakesh, who covered Israel's occupation of the West Bank.
In February 2024, without warning, YouTube deleted the account of independent British journalist Robert Inlakesh.
His YouTube page featured dozens of videos, including numerous livestreams documenting Israel's military occupation of the West Bank. In a decade covering Palestine and Israel, he had captured video of Israeli authorities demolishing Palestinian homes, police harassing Palestinian drivers, and Israeli soldiers shooting at Palestinian civilians and journalists during protests in front of illegal Israeli settlements. In an instant, all of that footage was gone.
In July, YouTube deleted Inlakesh's private backup account. And in August, Google, YouTube's parent company, deleted his Google account, including his Gmail and his archive of documents and writings.
The tech giant initially claimed Inlakesh's account violated YouTube's community guidelines. Months later, the company justified his account termination by alleging his page contained spam or scam content.
However, when The Intercept inquired further about Inlakesh's case, nearly two years after his account was deleted, YouTube provided a separate and wholly different explanation for the termination: a connection to an Iranian influence campaign.

Israel builds new wall through Palestinian areas in the West Bank
Israel is building a new 21-kilometer separation fence in the Jordan Valley. The barrier will isolate Palestinian villages and cut off farmers' access to their land.
Since the 1990s, the Palestinian Authority has exercised limited control in Palestinian towns and cities as part of the now-moribund Oslo Peace Process, but Israel has continued to refuse to withdraw from the West Bank or allow Palestinians self-determination.

In order to construct a 22-km long 'barrier,' the IDF will demolish homes, sheep pens and infrastructure that 'constitute an operational vulnerability,' according to a military document. One of the villages will be entirely surrounded by the fence. Residents of the area were only given a few days to file objections.

On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, an unusual truck circled the streets surrounding Harvard Yard, pausing outside the bakery across from Widener Library. Three video screens on its sides showed the faces and names of Harvard students. Accompanying text, in newspaper typeface, labeled them "Harvard's Leading Antisemites."
By now, nearly everyone is familiar with how it happened. The day after the October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, Harvard's Palestine Solidarity Committee circulated a letter holding "the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence." Representatives of 33 student organizations, from overtly political groups to a South Asian dance troupe, cosigned it. And amid the angry backlash, some prominent voices called out for a particular form of retribution. Investor Bill Ackman '88, M.B.A. '92, posted on X that Harvard should release the names of students who belonged to the signing groups "to insure [sic] none of us inadvertently hire any of their members." If students support the letter, he continued, their views should be "publicly known."
