While the original motive for today's summit in Copenhagen was to increase defence production, our military analyst suggests there may be something else at the heart of the agenda. Michael Clarke said defence ministers may look at increasing sanctions on Russia and even the issue of their frozen assets.
As blood flows, peace is running farther away .... normal in the stages of a war of attrition. The military and warmongering of politicians do not peace make.

Doctors and aid workers are watching helplessly as Palestinian children die of starvation and treatable injuries, as the malnutrition crisis in Gaza reaches catastrophic levels.
" I can't stop thinking about this little boy aged one and a half, who we were treating all alone on the floor in Nasser Hospital because his entire family had been killed," Loubani recalled.
