In concept a new diary nearly completed ...

AN INTRODUCTION

Forces of destruction unleashed in the minds of the masses ... decades of a slow process which has ultimately undermined democracy itself.

What Is Populism? | History |

Populism exists across the political spectrum, but what does it really mean? To find out we have to go back to when the term was coined in the 19th century. #HistoryChannel

Busting the Unions has cut the fist of laborers to balance their rights. Similar to Thatcherism and joining the EU undermined Labor Rights in Europe ... now the United Kingdom is on its own ... well Keir Starmer has looked West and begged Trump to be kind for its old "ally." Capitalism has no friends or allies ...all that matters is MAGA.

The riots past weekend has laid near the unequivocal incitement from political parties on the far-right ... organizers joint forces with the brutal football hooligans from all regions of the Netherlands ... argument because we can and Geert Wilders told us we should own the streets in protest to DEFEND HOLLAND ... fuck democracy ... fuck "antifa " ... Sieg Heil ... fuck the Jews ⁉️

Follow-up on my diary ...

Trump's 'Martyr' Charlie Kirk Heads Dutch Riots | 21 Sept. 2025 |

A new addition in recent years was the Farmers Alliance ... losing in the polls after joining the majority of Wilders' PVV,  Caroline Van der Plas in her desperation has passed the PVV on the right in dumb rhetoric ... even yesterday as Parliament debated the brutal riots and attack on law enforcement. The Dutch have joined Trump and gone completely NUTS.

Four coalitions of Mark Rutte (VVD) over 15 years has prepared the way ... not solving the issues that hurt society, kicking the can down the road and let the problems reach a level of crisis ... the Tory - Republican - Conservative way using austerity measures to put pressure on the lower and middle classes to the advantage of the very wealthy.

Van der Plas's proposal for an emergency asylum law sparks outrage among the opposition

BBB leader Caroline van der Plas used the debate surrounding the riots in The Hague to advocate for an emergency law to immediately implement a temporary freeze on asylum applications. The idea of the then-coalition parties to include strict asylum measures in an emergency law had previously been rejected. Van der Plas's proposal sparked widespread anger among the opposition.

Former Asylum Minister Marjolein Faber (PVV) had previously been unable to substantiate the justification for using emergency law, which is intended for crisis situations such as a natural disaster or pandemic.

Esther Ouwehand of the Party for the Animal Rights was not pleased with Van der Plas's request. "I have noticed that the NCTV's recommendations are not being taken seriously by the Farmers' Citizens' Movement either," she stated. The counterterrorism activist called the riots a sign of the normalization of the far right and noted that politicians also play a role in this.

The leaders of D66, CDA, ChristenUnie, Volt, SP, and GroenLinks-PvdA also reacted with great outrage to Van der Plas's motion. Henri Bontenbal (CDA) called the motion populist, while Laurens Dassen (Volt) believed it was rewarding the rioters.

Shame

"This is a greetings-to-the-grassroots motion," said Mirjam Bikker of the ChristenUnie. "This is the election caravan," Bikker said, referring to the upcoming elections.

"How dare you submit this motion during this debate?" said SP leader Jimmy Dijk. "It's simply embarrassing," Jetten said.

According to Van der Plas, it's a temporary measure and "a completely normal instrument you can use."

Geert Wilders pulled the plug of his majority coalition which forced new elections with NO achievements whatsoever in last eleven months.

The hard-right's champion blows up the Dutch government | The Economist - 3 June 2025 |

Geert Wilders won an election but bails without getting much done

Put in the dock, Geert Wilders bites back with comparisons to damage resulted from pro-Palestine protest in Amsterdam in 2024.

It all began with a protest against immigration policy that spiraled out of control, but what followed were violent riots, including the vandalism of the D66 party headquarters, an attempted break-in to the Binnenhof, and police attacks.

These riots still grip the city of The Hague. In the aftermath, the National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism (NCTV) advised the outgoing Minister of Justice and Security to declare the incident a case of far-right violence. This advice was initially ignored. Outgoing Minister Van Oosten did not mention right-wing extremism. Only later did he reverse that decision. What does this say about how we deal with right-wing extremism in the Netherlands? What role does politics play in normalizing this behavior?

WARNING IN JUNE NATIONAL ANTI-TERRORISM COORDINATOR

Terrorism Threat Assessment Netherlands: Right-wing terrorism and -extremism | NCTV |

There remain significant concerns about the rapid online radicalization and potential threat of violence, particularly among young people in right-wing terrorist online networks. Due to the difficulty of detection, individuals can further radicalize beyond the control of law enforcement.

The Dutch right-wing extremist scene is primarily inspired by identitarianism, Nazism, and ultranationalism. They strive to normalize right-wing extremist ideology and protect the "white race." This is done both through organized groups and by influential individuals. Increasingly, they seek cooperation with other right-wing extremists, both domestically and internationally. Worldwide, right-wing extremists feel they have the tide on their side, and as they strive for greater social acceptance, most renounce violence, at least publicly. Nevertheless, in Western democracies, including the Netherlands, violent incidents related to right-wing extremism are occurring.
